Crispy Maharashtrian Besan Chakli for Diwali Faral

This is a Recipe for making at home crispy and delicious authentic Maharashtrian Style Gram Flour or Besan-Masala Chi Chakli. Apart from being a useful snack, this Chakli can add variety to your annual Diwali Faral. This Chakli is prepared using Besan as the main ingredient along with Rice Flour and some selected spices like Red Chili Powder, Sesame Seeds, Kalonji and Ajwain. The Marathi language version of the same Chakli recipe can be seen here – Besnachi Chakli Preparation Time: 60 Minutes Serves: 30-32 Nos Ingredients 2 Cups Besan [Gram Flour] ½ Cup Rice Flour 1 Tablespoon Ajwain 1 Tablespoon Red Chili Powder 2 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds ¼ Teaspoon Baking Powder 1 Teaspoon Kalonji 2 Tablespoon Fresh Cream Salt as per taste 2 Tablespoon Oil (hot) Oil for frying the Chakli Besan Chakli for Diwali Faral Preparation: Heat the Kadai and roast the Besan until the color changes into light brown.
