This is a Recipe for making at home typical traditional Malvani Style Amboli. Amboli is a kind of thick Dosa that is a substitute for Chapati and is especially popular in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. Amboli, which is prepared using Rice and Urad Dal as the main ingredients is normally served along with fish, prawns, chicken or mutton curry or Rassa or Amti as this curry is called in Konkan. The Amboli is also a healthy and nutritious dish that is easy to digest and it can also be served for breakfast along with coconut chutney. Soaking Time: 7-8 Hours Fermentation Time: 7-8 Hours Preparation Time: 10 Minutes Serve: 4-5 Persons Ingredients: 2 Cups Rice 1 Cup Urad Dal 1 Tea spoon Fenugreek Seeds Salt as per taste Oil for frying the Amboli Traditional Malvani Style Amboli Preparation First clean and wash the Rice, Urad Dal and Fenugreek Seeds separately and soak for 7-8 hours.
